Growing up in rural southern Virginia taught me a few things; the most important were hard work and how to be adaptable, but also that I'd rather tell computers what to do instead of pull tobacco. So, I became a software developer with a focus on web technologies. I'm fascinated with multiple disciplines of development and as a result, I've worn a few hats.
Design: There's enough to worry about in the world, using a web application shouldn't add to that list. I believe in and practice clean, simple, and responsive design that is easy to use and engages the user. You want people to come back for more.
Development: I'm a code polygot that specializes in UX driven frontend languages like JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML, and heavy-lifting backend languages like C#. I'm incredibly curious and learn quickly. I also work with 3rd party integrations like Google Maps, OpenLayers, and Telerik .net controls.
Delivery: Documentation, training, and product support are needed for any application. I've written training manuals, certification tests, given conference talks, and have spent quite a bit of time building positive customer interactions through high level support.
